23 Lebanese Dentists from the League of Lebanese Graduates from Greek Universities (LLGGU) attended from October 19 to 20, 2007 the 4th Continuing Dental Education Seminar organized by the School of Dentistry of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki – Greece and sponsored by the Greek Ministry of Education.

Top quality faculty members of the Greek Dental School updated their Lebanese colleagues on the latest developments of evidence-based contemporary clinical dentistry, and the gathering provided an opportunity for strengthening the cordial relationships between the members of the League of Lebanese Graduates and their former teachers and classmates.

During the opening ceremony, friendly supporting messages were addressed to the participants by the Minister of Education of Greece Mr. Evripidis Stylianidis, the Ambassador of Greece to Lebanon Mr. Panos Kalogeropoulos, the Ambassador of Lebanon to Athens Mr. Gebran Soufan, the President of the Lebanese Dental Association Dr. Antoine Karam, the President of the World Federation of Orthodontics Professor Athanassios Athanassiou, the University’s President Prof. Anastassios Manthos, the Dental School’s Dean Prof. Athanassios Antoniadis and the President of the League of Lebanese Graduates from Greek Universities Dr. Georges Scheib.
